Stay away from Mardi Gras beads!!! We are from the Washington and did not know that the are "beads for Deads" but the kids knew!!! Go figure!

we have a talent show every year. Magic, singing, dancing, juggling, theme singing (motown) dress up as the Supremes, ventriloquist, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Men in Black, Robots,

I am looking for ideas that will appeal to 6,7, and 8 grade students. We are hosting a Mardi Gras theme carnival with silent auction, and dinner. I need advice on activities that the kids will like.

Anything will be helpful.
