SPAGHETTI DINNER IDEAS - HELP!!

Ask your local Boy Scout troop for help. They usually do those type of events anyways. They also can volunteer to help staff the event. The boys need the hours and will be in uniform.

I just did a spaghetti dinner at my school for 140 people. Cook pasta ahead of time and mix with olive oil , then have a big pan with boiling water . Scoop and put in hot water when it is time, but make sure sauce is warm. It was hot and people were very impressed how fast the bowls of pasta were on the table. Good Luck!

My Husband is a manager with Olive Garden. They do a fundraiser where they print the tickets and flyers for you. Then you presell the tickets. WE charged 10 per adult and 6 per child. Olive Garden charged us 4.00 per person. That included the printing of tickets, flyers, pasta, bread sticks, salad and they delivered it. We just needed a few volunteers to dish out the pasta, we had the kids bus tables and we earned over 500 bulks and did nothing but sell the tickets. :)

We just did our very first Spaghetti Dinner. Of course, we didn't know how many to plan for, etc. We did it the same night as our basketball Homecoming game. We planned for 250 people. We asked all parents/families for donations of spaghetti and sauce. Needless to say, when the day came, we only had a few items of each. So, I went out and bought spaghetti, sauce, meatballs, dressing, pre-mixed salad, and, luckily, had the bread donated to us by Food City grocery store. We had about $200 in it. We only had about 5 volunteers help, which come to find out, was a perfect number. It was the EASIEST dinner that I have been involved in, as far as preparation. We only had 82 customers, but we still profited $220! That was far beyond my expectation that night. It is definitely something we will do again.

We just had a spaghetti feed last night sponsored by the Olive Garden restaurant. They charged us $4 per plate and then we could charge whatever we felt was reasonable. All they required was a kitchen and they took care of set up, serving and clean up.
