Tabitha-
I posted this question over on our Facebook page.
A few people have responded.

I also googled "hosting a trivia night" and found a few things... thought that this event listing page gave a good general idea of how some people organize this event, i.e. cost, prizes, food, etc. www.trivianights.net/

Keep us posted ... we'd love to hear what you end up doing.

Many of the local DJ's offer this type of service, as do pubs like TGIF. The emcee can make or break the party, so a great personality is a must. Mix in a few "easy" questions so the less intellectually gifted don't get blown away by the competition.

Tabitha asks:
Who has done a trivia for their school sponsored by the PTO? We want to host a trivia but it has never been done before at our school and I'm looking for tips, information and suggestions. It will be off-site to accommodate an open bar. Thanks!
