What a wonderful idea! I recently asked what schools were doing for Red Ribbon week on our
Facebook page
. Wonder if any of their comments might spark some ideas for you?
We decided to plan as part of our Red Ribbon Week, to "adopt" our local high school Football team. We are wanting to show our students (most which will eventually go to this particular high school), how being active in school will help keep them out of trouble with drugs. So far, we have planned to make a banner for the team, encouragement cards for the players, spirit day with the high schools colors being worn and are hoping ot have some of our students at the their last home game (which falls on the Friday of Red Ribbon Week).
Is there any other ideas out there that someone can suggest that would be easy to do, that would show our support for the team in line with Red Ribbon Week?
