Have you ever noticed?

Tim, you are correct in what I intended to say. The companies that are the site sponsors and that have banners, in the site's yellow pages, etc. I have found those to be soooo helpful. It's the ones that post their advertisments.

Sorry I didn't explain myself correctly.

Tim, I have no problem with the companies that appropriately advertise on this site and look for those advertisements as well as the sponsors for your conferences to new ideas for fundraising. I don't care for posts made by companies on these message boards, including the several made today because it shows that they can't understand the simple instructions of not advertising in the forums. Honestly, of the 2 fundraisers we are signed to do this coming year, one advertises with banners on this site and one was a conf. sponsor because I do trust what PTO Today has to say as well as some of the other parent group members that post here.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Hey LM -- I know you mean "companies that advertise inappropriately right here in the forum", right?

Because the companies that advertise in the appropriate areas of our site (in banner ads, in our PTO Yellow Pages, etc.) are the folks that allow this whole thing to be free. Any chance you get to thank those good guys for their support and to give them a chance to earn your business is much appreciated.

Just clarifying ;)

How ignorant businesses are that continue to try drumming up business on this site even though it clearly states "NO ADS?" Things like this make me never want to give said companies my business. If they can't read and follow directions on this site, why should I trust them to follow directions with my school and it's fundraising? Just had to vent!
