Box Tops for Education

15 years 3 months ago #147541 by Jenn Caldwell
We started a new promotion this month, to increase box tops turned in before Feb. 28 deadline. All collection sheets turned in full will get the student a Chili's Pepper Pals certificate for a free kid's meal--check with your local Chili's--most will give you free coupons because it increases their business. I posted the collection sheet I made up under Chili's collection sheet. Good Luck!

There is a racing Box top collection sheet on the boxtops4education.com site.

We're using an Olympic theme for our activities this year, including Box Tops collections. I am supposed to create a racing track w/ runners to tally our Box Tops. Does anyone have a suggestion of where I could find such? When I volunteered for the coordinator job, it was because I had the time to clip all the Box Tops, NOT because of any artistic talent : )

Thank you.

Those "codes" are the product codes, i.e. HH for Hamburger Helper. That's all they are. There is tons of talk about this promotion, both on the Coordinator's forum and in the yahoo group. There is no way for them to tell the difference unless they are coating the products that come into their store with something. Some kind of infra-red, non-colored dye and then have the equipment to check for it. PLUS, the form does not state it has to be products purchased after a certain date, so what about the box of cereal someone bought at Target 2 months ago?
This was not a well thought out promotion on the parts of both BTFE and Target. I won't be submitting these sheets because my school didn't receive the offer. I do hope the justified complaining from their coordinators causes GM to take pause before they launch something like this again.

I think that Box Top's has put out a collection sheet that we can attach our Box Top's to (attach so many with a free space on it -similar to the one that Cambell's has put out to use) and I can not find it. I don't really need one that has a theme to it at all. I just would like a plan one that I can use to attach the Box Top's to. Anybody know where I can find one? I have looked on this site and they are all with a theme. Thank you for your help.

Box tops operators say that Target can scan each box top and know whether or not if it's from their store-- not sure if I believe that or not--- they say you will get the 1st 30 point credit--- for sure and then if target says they aren't from them, you won't get the bonus credit--- if they are, you will--- this one was a crazy program to offer--- we'll have to wait and see how it ends up with the credits..
