Question: Outgoing member gift

We would like to honor our outgoing members that have been board members for many years. We will take them to dinner but will also like to present them with a gift. Any ideas about what we should give? Thank you

How about a set of thank-you cards drawn by the kids? You could put them in a binder. Maybe the principal would include a brief letter as well. You could also give them a certificate thanking them for their dedication and service to the PTO/school. I'd recommend personal and inexpensive items like these over a gift certificate or a memento that will be put away in a closet.
