Question: Ticketing due dates

Is it reasonable or a standard to have due dates or return by dates for event ticketing? Is there anything preventing due date enforcement? Should the date be missed is it fair to then request volunteerism thus allowing event participation? Should bylaws cover this or does school administration have the final say?

Can you explain a little more what the situation is? You can certainly enforce a reservation deadline or a closing date for ticket sales for an event. The key is that it must be well publicized and you have to stick to it firmly. The first couple of times you do this, people may get angry. But they'll get used to the policy over time. I'm not clear what you mean by requesting volunteerism to allow event participation. (Maybe I missed your point entirely?)
