Question: Turning over a new leaf

This year as a member of PTO it became clear that PTO needed a shake up, a better reputation and new fresh faces. Our president quit and our vice president was absent a lot. I ended up being voted in as next years Vice President and that's when the drama started. Members from the current PTO who all claimed they were fed up are now trying to stir up drama with the new officers. The main problem is they don't want to share any information we feel we might need. Should we just start fresh and not worry about looking to them as mentors or keep trying and hope they aren't looking to us to fail?

I have my own business so, I treated it like a new business adventure. I started from scrap and now we turned it around in that same year last year. This year will be my 2nd term.

My only good advise to you and your team, when you hear rumors just smile and don't add anything to it. Just say, Thank you for that information and I will keep it in mind...as far I know this is new to me.
