Question: NSF noted on Treasurers report

We have a check that bounced for NSF. How do you note that on the treasurers report? Do you put it under income as a negative or under expenses. We incurred no fees. We are in the process of trying to collect. Thanks!

I usually put it in as a negative under income. Someone else might enter it as an expense and call it "bad debt expense" or something like that. Do whichever way is easiest for you to be able to explain to your group or easier to account for--depending on your accounting software, one may be easier than the other.
