Question: Is it proper or legal for the treasurer of a PTO who has no direct ties or link to the school to still be "that active"? This individual has no children or grandchildren in this school (and has not for years) however, has remained the treasurer. Many question why this is but, unfortunately no one has challeneged her. I'm sure it goes according to your bylaws. They have recently gone through many changes and have a new President - whether she is willing to address this I do not know. Any thoughts?
