I am thrilled to see that the dates have been chosen for the 2004 convention. I hope to be bringing about 20 parents with me from the Toledo area. The chief of staff at Toledo Public Schools was wondering if you could send us some fliers for the event? Thanks so much!

I'd expect the pages to be ready by about October 1, maybe last week of September. I'll try and get your specific answers this week.

As you know dates are confirmed. All the one-day prices are definitely under $50 ($39 is in my head, but...).

Can you give an approx time that the info will be available for the Dallas conf. Those of us who will be traveling from out of state will need info asap. At my school we budget early so I will need to give as much info to the committee as possible, as early as possible. Also do you have any hotel prices?

I bought his books at the Chicago show (easy read).

He has TONs of "how to" ideas for involvement. I need to hear more!!

Our 2004 Show Web pages will be live in no time. If you've registered on the site ( www.ptotoday.com/update ), then you'll get an email from us when the site is up. Let me try and give a couple of answers for you:

1. Event in Dallas will be from approx. 9 to approx 6, though folks are welcome to (and do) come for whatever amount of time fits their schedule.

2. Price tag (if I recall, don't hold me to this, it's Sat. night) for Dallas will be about $39 for a full-day (including lunch).

3. Definitely best to reserve early for two reasons: 1) we have early-bird discounts; and 2) we've had several sell-outs at past events. Early is basically before the New Year.

I've never been to a PTO show before. So I have some questions. How much does it cost to go, what time is it in Dallas? How much in advnace notice do you need for us to buy tickets?
