Our school did a portrait fundraiser with Olan Mills. We got all the money and it did not cost anything. You can find out about it at www.olanmills.com and click on fundraising.

With the corporate donations-how do you ask? Do you ask local corporations in your area or do you solicit national companies?

Market Day is also a good option. We started with them this school year and have had great results. We are doing our Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough fundraiser with them. Its presented as a "service" to the parents and doesn't feel like a tradtional fundraiser. We also did a walk a thon in the fall.

My Name is Tonya Fussell and I am a Territory Manager for The Sock Fundraising Company. Our company offers socks. $15/unit and a profit of 40%, so your profit is $6/unit. There is a quick return on the product. No more than a week. Your organization would also earn 20% for a year for all online orders. I would like to send you some information in the mail, and also give you our e-mail address. thesockfundraisingcompany.com. I hope that you find this information helpful, and I hope to speak to you in the near future. Please call me if you would like more information.

Our best 2 sales fundraisers raise over $10,000 (we have about 600 students). We do other things to raise money (festivals, dinners, etc.), but you get a lot more money with a lot less work using sales fundraisers. We do "World's Finest Chocolate" and "Zap A Snack". Our parents love them and, since they are consummable, they are ready to buy more each year.

Good Luck!

We just did a really easy pre-sale fundraiser selling Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance certified coffee. The company was Cafecosa - i think it is www.cafecosa.com . We had 40 students participate and made $1,700. coffee is an easy easy sell - it is a unique idea so that also helped in selling.

good luck!
