We are a TITLE ONE school (which means at least 80% of students receive free or reduced lunches) with about 650 students. Most of our families are low income but we have a budget of $22,000.00. We do popcorn and pickle sales every Friday. We have our own popcorn machine and purchase all our supplies at Sam's Club. We sell each for .50. We make about $200.00 a week.

We sold Halloween pencils and erasers and foam sticker during lunch for 3 days and made $150.00.

We do pictures with Santa (our principal is Santa). We charge $2.00 per picture. We're only out the cost of developing(.13 cents each at Sam's Club) and the cost of 4x6 photo frame Christmas Cards we get 12 for a dollar at the dollar store.

We do a "Pennies for PTA" fundraiser every year. We have students bring change to put in a jar decorated by their own class. The class with the most money collected (we'd pick up the money every couple of days and keep a running total) over a two week period gets an ice cream party. We also put a wishing well (a kids blow up swimming pool) near the front doors so they can make a wish and toss in coins. This is done usally during open house. We made over $800.00 last year.

We're trying something different for a spring fundraiser. Everyone needs a first aid kit for home or car so we're trying First Aid Kit ~ Wholesale Direct to the Public! Interested in First Aid? Welcome to First-Aid-Product.com! OSHA First Aid & More... They offer first aid kits at a reasonable price and we recieve a portion of the profits.:)

You may want to give "Kathrynbiech.com" a try. Our student body is roughly 500 students and since we have switched to Kathryn Beich, we have only had to conduct one fund raiser each year as we have been able to raise about $10K, each time we hold this fundraiser.

This fundraiser is in addition to the "Year Round Fundraising" that is done, which includes Box Tops, Campbell Soup Lables, Tyson's A+, Targets, Print Cartridge recycling, etc...

May I ask what grade level you are interested in?
I own a company in Florida that produces full color programs for Football, Baseball, Basketball and even Little Leagues and Junior Colleges. As I said, these programs are in FULL color all the way through. And as requested by you (and everyone else in the nation), this cost you absolutely nothing. Nothing to put a deposit on, nothing to purchase ahead of time...NOTHING!
All you do is make money off of it.

I am basically in similar shoes... Except, our school has had a PPO for a long time now. The only thing is nothing was done correctly so now we have to start over... :( So, now I am the President and the Fundraising chairholder. I just finished my second fundraiser this year with a company called Sally Foster/Entertainment Books. This company offers a prize program for the students and "Partner Point" for your school to earn free items. We used our "Partner Points" for give aways for our top sellers as a motivation to increase sales... IT WORKED!! We just made in the last two fundraisers over $10,000 and we only started school in September. If you would like for me to provide you with a contact let me know and they will send you out an information packet for you to look at.

We are also planning to do a "Bake Sale" at our upcoming city "holiday" event. The booth is only $20 for us and the all of the teachers, staff, and some parents are going to baking the goods (no cost to us except the $20). So, this was a quick way for us to earn some money considering we have a budget of $22,000.

One more thing we are going to do is a "Holiday Gram". We purchase pencils, erasers, and balloons and the students pay $1.00 to send their friends a "Holiday Gram". This does require a little money up front to purchase everything, but in the end we make $.75 on each one. Last year we did this during the holiday season and we made over $800. It seems like most upper grade children would purchase $5.00 worth at a time!

We do several things. Just make sure someone keeps up with things and passes the information along to any new people every year it changes. We do Kroger cards, bauy and sell them for $5 ea. and the person reloads them at the store like a debit/gift card. Kroger sends us a check after $5000 total have been reloaded to any or our cards. We also do Papa John's night, every Monday night for us. They give us 20% of all sales receipts we turn in. We have the classes compete against each other for a pizza party twice a year for the classes that sold the most. We collect Box Tops for education and Campbell's labels also. Box Tops cuts you a check twice a year for whatever you send in and Campbell's gives you points that you redeem through their catalog of items. It includes everything from chalk to a minivan, yes a minivan. We have also done a large sales fundraiser once a year for the past several years. This year and last we did Cherrydale Farms, you know the book we all love to buy from. They give us 50% of sales and this year we made right at $20,000. Our school is K thru 5th grades and we have about 500 students give or take. Our county population is around 24,000 people. I recommend trying a sale called butter braid. It offers one product with several flavors and not a lot of hassle. You can find all these on the internet.
