Fundraising purchase

Hi Hadley,
It would seem that if this was voted by the group (not sure...it may have been just the board?), then the group should definitely move forward and make the purchase.

If it was approved by the board to advance it for a group vote, and now the board no longer wants to do that, then you do have the option of requesting it be discussed by the group as a whole at an upcoming meeting.

Ok I'm going to try to make this short and to the pointe

Last year our PTO board voted on what to buy our school with the funds that were raised! So far this purchase has still not been made and our current board does want to commit to this purchase as they feel there are more important things that could be used towards improving our overall school as well as having the funds go towards something that the entire school would benefit from!

So the question is... are we allowed to say we don't approve that purchase this year since it was not apart of our goals this year?? I mean it doesn't sit right to me that at anytime a large sum could come out of the account a year or two after that board left!

Thoughts... TIA
