Following up from the discussion below... Yes it is hard to keep expenses under control for your teacher appreciation! Last year, as the luncheon party favor, we gave notepads and decorated pens to each teacher. We have an artistic Mom who created a school
notepad and our district copy center created the pads REAL cheap. Only charged for the copies. The teachers loved them. At the middle school we try to spread things out during the year. In March we are going to have a PI day. there is a special day celebrating the mathematical function and we will bring pies to the teachers lounge for their dessert and snack. We need to ask a math teacher for that specific day. We usually end up feeding them--most affordable and EVERYONE DOES IT!!
