Carnival Ideas

Hmm... when I think of Hawaii, I tend to think of flowers, sun, surf, sand, bright floral prints, leis, and volcanoes. Could you take a traditional carnival game and just slant it? Ideas might be:

*Cake or book walk using Hawaiian music.

*The duck pond one with the floating numbered ducks. A kid picks one and gets a prize corresponding to the number. Anyway, maybe you could use some floating flower- shaped candles instead of the ducks. (Or silk flowers if silk flowers float!)

* Just have whoever staff the booth dressed in theme.

* Do you have anyone with artistic talent? Could they paint some sort of Hawaiian them on a piece of plywood and you could cut out some holes for a bean bag toss.

Good luck!

I am looking for any and all ideas for a booth that our kindergarten class has to come up with for our spring carnival this year. The theme is a hawaiian luau, and it's scheduled for April 24th... Thanks!! I've never done this before!!

For the past couple of years we have gone with some of the more popular themes. Last year we were Y2K (Yes 2 Kids) This year our theme is Survivor and we do an assembly which will involve our staff and some games from Survivor! It works well!

In the past we have done a western theme, mardi gras, 50's, 60s and the like. This year our theme is Hands Across the World. Using a multi-cultural theme we hope to reach all the students in our school

We have a spring dance and do just a few of those thing. It is a rock thru the ages kind of theme. We incorporate the school so that monday is 50's, tuesday 60's and so on. With hula hoop contests and big wheel races...

Kids really get into dressing up in their favorite era.

Good luck

How about a Luau, Patriotic theme, or 50's theme?
