Event Tickets

We roll them in advance in $5.00 increments only (I think). I'm not the one who has done it, but I think she just uses a small bit of tape to close each roll. It seems to work pretty well. Anything less is sold from the large roll. (Our tickets are only 25 cents each however.)

It seems pretty common to sell event tickets at central ticket stations and then have the guests pay for concessions, bingo, etc with tickets to limit how many volunteers handle cash. We do that. I'm curious as to what methods you find most effective in bundling the tickets for high volume sales at peak periods during on-site sales. We typically sell the tickets for 50 cents. Often, they pre-package them in baggies in $5 and $10 groups, lesser sales are counted and torn off from the roll. This method is pretty bulky and hasn't proven very efficient. I was thinking of fan-foldig them compactly in one ticket width and using different colors of rubber bands to differentiate the value of the bundle. How do some of you do it?
