Did you know that Scrip Advantage was actually scrip plus? Scrip plus accepted millions of dollars in orders form schools, closed the company down and then the Coyle brothers started scrip advantage. That is the story I was told and you can actually search it on the web.

Wow! I can't believe that Scrip Advantage took an unauthorized debit from your account. I was wondering if I should cancel the account they have access to and create a new one for Great Lakes. I guess that answers my question!!

Wouldnt the bank protect you against that? If the debit was not backed up by an order isnt that outright fraud? Cant the bank help you out?

Its hard to believe that our bank accounts can be victim to random debits and there is nothing we can do about it.

I cancelled all my SA back orders in early October and hounded them for three weeks for my $5200, which posted on 10/31. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I guess I'll kiss good-bye the $195 they still owed me for the totally unauthorized debit to our account a week after I cancelled all orders.

I have been using Great Lakes for the past 6 weeks and am thrilled so far. But add me to the skeptics who were burned by NSC and now by SA.

Is there no future for scrip? Will Great Lakes be next?

And can Great Lakes keep up their awesome quick fulfillment record with this deluge of new customers, deserting the sinking SA ship?

I called Blackwater a couple of days ago. Left a couple of messages, but they did not return the calls.

Is this still the case (it's from 2004) that Blackwater capital is their "exclusive advisor", maybe we should be hounding them?:

Scrip Advantage, Inc.
The company is the second largest gift card distributor in the non-for-profit sector with over $200,000,000 in sales this year. Blackwater capital is its exclusive advisor having raised $3,000,000 in July of 2004 and currently raising another $7,000,000 in a private placement.

Has ANYBODY gotten anywhere with getting a refund since November 1st from Scrip Advantage? Also, can someone enlighten me regarding National Scrip Center, links, etc.? I read here they went out of business as well, if true, when did they go out of business? -- Is this all a house of cards ready to crumble (scrip)? Is Great Lakes Scrip Center the next one to go under - can anyone give a positive on why they won't go out of business as well?
