Shawnfuscious and my 'little brother Guido' are available for hire.

My suggestion would be a mteeting with Principal and staff tolet them know who and how things run.

If she turns something in, "it must go thru the PTA/PTO or principal" should be the response to her.

A Parliamentarian or some one to keep mtgs in line, "Excuse me but so and so has the floor please keep questions till the end," to her

I could use some help with a delicate issue. I am on the Board for the first time this year, although I have been active for several years. Next year, I will probably be Pres. by default, as we have a limited # of active volunteers.
Our current Pres. was VP last year under the woman who has become the problem. She has not gotten the message that she is no longer in control. She puts herself front & center everytime she gets the chance; attends every Board meeting, and generally tries to have a hand in everything that will keep her "visible" to the school as a PTA leader. She made sure that she was the one who served coffee to the visiting school Board members, grabbed the mike at the annual carnival, and even muscled her way back to the room where the Board was counting the money after a big fundraising event last week. When she was President she was prone to grand gestures and spent thousands of dollars of her own money on teacher gifts, luncheons, even designer jewelry for the school's secretaries, "just because". She hired a masseuse for Teacher Appreciation Week, and her children, (even the toddler!) were on every page of the yearbook. She caused enormous image problems for our organization and we are working hard to take it in a new direction, but with her still determined to be involved, it is really difficult, without starting WWIII. Any advice?
