Yes, it's a bio for the PTC.

How does this sound? Too much, too little, or just right?

Cassi is married to Benny, who is from Germany. She is the mother of one, Austin (in 3rd grade High Ability 2010-2011). Cassi enjoys reading, cooking, and crafting.
Cassi has served as our Membership/Volunteer Coordinator since 2008. She took over the Winter Carnival Chair position fall 2009. Cassi works full time as a Purchasing Manger and seasonally as a Tax Professional.
I'm looking forward to another great year! My contact information is below.

If it's a bio for a parent organization, I'd include: mention of spouse (if any), ages and names of children, board positions held in the past (i.e. Member at Large), current volunteer projects at the school (i.e. Class t-shirt coordinator), and a "light" one line statement (i.e. "We have a wonderful school with dedicated teachers and volunteers, I look forward to another great year.") Contact info is optional, depending on the purpose of the bio and where it will be posted.

If the bio is intended for use as a campaign tool to win votes for a parent organization board position, the candidate may have to pull out a few heavier factoids such as work or educational experience that especially qualifies them for the position.
