This has popped up at our PTA recently. There is a family in crisis and a fellow parent wants to coordinate efforts to help them out. This would involve a call for money donations, which she wants PTA to collect online and then deliver to then purchase gift cards for the family in crisis. Essentially, use the PTA's bank account as a bridge account, I guess. Would this be a problem when we file our taxes or if we are audited?
