LUVMYKIDS had some great questions. How about asking the candidate a general question about their philosophy on how schools should work with PTOs?

Good Luck Cindy!

I would ask:

How do you define parental involvement?

What do you expect from the parent groups within your district?

What do you expect from your administrators and teachers in regards to parental involvement in their buildings and classrooms?

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

I am on the committee to represent the PTO for interviewing possible new superintendents over the summer.
What questions would you ask to see how they will work with the PTO? I am also on our Coordinating Council group which is where our 4 schools in the district would meet with this person on a regular basis so I would really like someone who can work with us.

Thanks for all your help.

Cindy
