Family Night: Are you smarter than a 5th grader?

We are going to give each 5th grader a ticket and then we will have a drawing-- this we feel is a fair way

President Jim - can you let me know how you go about selecting the "5th Graders" on the Panel (those on the stage with the contestant)? I am looking for a fair way to introduce the idea. Thanks.

The one I put up on file share yesterday should not be glitchy. I've tested it out a bunch of times now. If you click too fast (doubleclick), you may be hyperlinked to another question page, but if you have a bit of mouse control you should be good. Simply click one time once the question is answered and you will be hyperlinked to the answer page. Clicking one time takes you to the return page. And then clicking just one time will take you back to the score screen. If you click twice at this screen and happen to have the mouse lined up with another question you might be hyperlinked away from the score screen and to the new question screen.

Funny thing is that the link that you provided is the same initial template that I started with, which the Principal found. I just changed it so that it is "Are you smarter than a 4th grader", and put in some questions. The point is that if mine is glitchy then yours is as well since they are the same template.

Regards,

Ok the one on file sharing is ok - but it's glichy. The questions don't return you to the score screen. Here is the link to the template. We are using this tomorrow with local celebs as we prepare for our Knowledge a thon.

We're running our book fair right now, Scholastic, and they have an excellent Are You Smarter book. It runs about 5 bucks. It's complete with, I'm guessing, about 75 full games of Are You Smarter. A couple of teachers have bought the book for their own classes, and I'm probably going to pick one up for future use as a Family Night. I'm sure the book can be found at Amazon and the likes.

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

Hey all. Sorry it took so long, but I wanted to add questions so that you could actually play the game from the fileshare and get the idea. My originaly template had pictures associtaed with all of the questions and answers, but the 19 Meg file could not be loaded, so I removed all of the cool pics and uploaded it as you'll see.

Hope you all enjoy!

Here's a quick link to the fileshare:
