At our Elementary school they call it the "Someone Special Dance" It's a nice event and you will see parents, grand parents and entire families. There is always a professional photographer there that for a small fee takes your photo and prints in right there and take it home that night. Makes for a nice night and great memories.

Need some ideas.

We are attempting to do our first ever mother/son and father daughter dances this year. Here is our dilemma. We have many single parent homes in our school (district) and many kids who are currently being raised by their grandparents - and do not want to exclude anyone. Do you have suggestions for alternate names for these events. I thought of "Princess Dance" for the Father Daughter Dance (which is the week after valentines day)

I am stuck for the Mother/Son Dance and an alternative name

Any help would be appreciated!
