Did you try entering it without the dash?

Are you sure you're entering the right tax ID number? I know we have another form from the IRS that has a certificate number on it, but that's not the EIN that the donors are looking for.

We also received the Cabot cheese basket and are pairing it with some donated wine and a picnic basket that was given to us. I love the idea of adding some crackers as well!
This has been my first year running our auction and I thank everyone for all the great ideas! It has helped me tremendously!
A few different ideas we had for items... our local fire department donated a tour and we paired it with a gift card from Firehouse Subs. We also had camps from the area offer vouchers for a week and the local rec soccer team donated a gift certificate for next seasons registration fees.
Popular "free" items at our school include best parking space, principal for the day, class plates where each child's face is represented, a basket that each homeroom puts together... the teachers all offer something like a party in the library after school, ice cream and a movie with a teacher, going to the bookstore to pick out a book and get a cookie with the teacher... all these end up going to a ton of money!
Good luck to everyone!

I just recieved our box on Thursday - 8 days before the event. Wasn't quite ready for it, but I have it in my refridgerator now. We recieved a canvas insulated bag, a cutting board, cheese knife and 8 blocks of various cheese plus a cheese shaker. They valued ours at $75. It also comes with a display board to show what was in the box. I am concerned about putting the cheese out for 4 hours during the event, so we are going to display the "non- refridgered" items and put the display board with it. Good luck!

The Cabot box we received was a small but heavy wood cutting board a dishtowel, 6 blocks of cheese of different kinds and coupons.
I can't remember if we got a cheese knife. I bought a basket and cellophane at our Dollar store and tied with a ribbon. We added box of crax as well...for $4 extra dollars it made a nice basket. We also saved the red box the cheeses came in so the winner can store at home easier if needed...you may want to add a few cheesey recipie cards
