For those of you that received the Elite vacation lodging donation, what value did you put on the 7-night stay (since it requires meal plan purchase)? I don't want to over value it and have the winner upset b/c of mandatory meal plan...Thanks!
Hello, I am not a 501c3 but work to help children learn to healthy and fit in fitness for a healthy future. Can you tell me which organizations will offer donations to me? Any help wiuld be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Our PTA contacted our state PTA and found out that we fall under their umrella. They sent us an authoritization letter which contained their tax exempt number. We get a new letter every other year. We have used this for several years and it has worked out beautifully.
I understand your predicament ... have been in the same boat for the last 3 years. No 501(c)(3) makes it challenging, but not impossible to get donations. You just need to focus on the ones that don't require it & build from there. Many places simply require a request on school letterhead.
As far as getting a donation from a company that requires proof of non-profit status, I've not been successful. I tried a couple of places (American Girl comes to mind), but always get turned down.
