The ULTIMATE Donation List

Millie,

I just finished a golf tournament.
For goodie bags:

Green Mountain Coffee will donate up to 500 small bags of coffee.
Ben & Jerry's will give up to 50 coupons for a pint each.
Golf Digest donates coupons, etc.

If you have a Golfers Warehouse near you, they gave me a $50 gift card and $10 gift cards for all the goodie bags.
Don't forget to ask the course where your event will be held. Ours is part of a local orchard and they gave us apple pies for all the players. The course gave us a 4some and lunch. Plus they offer high end prizes for the hole in one contest.

Local radio and tv stations have a lot of promo items. We received tickets to a show, amusement park passes and dinner gift certificates from our local stations.

We also had a 4 some entry for next year's tournament for raffle.

We made over $3600 on the raffle/silent auction.

Good luck.

If you have an iphone you can get the square swipe for free by visiting their website. You could have someone use a credit card link the square tool to either the church's bank account or yours and than you could write a check to the church, etc. It worked out really well for my fundrasier.

Hello Everyone,

Truly these post have been a great blessing. It's unbelievable how much ideas I have gotten from here. Well My question is: what type of payments do you accept at these types of fundraising events. We are having our Silent/Live Auction on August 31st and my Committee met on Monday and this topic came up. We are a non-profit church and we don't accept credit cards. Now I think this is a problem being that we have many pricey items and people now-a-days don't carry that kind of cash. Please help... suggestions???

Answers we have received this week.

Canvas On Demand- $100 gc
Top of the Rock- 4 Passes value $100
Build a Bear 2x $5.00 bear bucks
Wrangler Jeans-Clothing donation value unknown
Pump It Up- bounce passes and coupons

We are so excited for this event and can you believe our tickets are only $6. per person

I also submitted to NYC, DC and Philly area comedy clubs, restaurants museums, zoos, businesses. Search in google and you will find many places to send for donation requests.
