Our auction is 4/21. In our request letter, we asked that donations come by 4/4 so that we had time to put together the auction literature, knowing that items would still be coming in for another few days after that. National donations have slowed down, but a few more arrived this week:

All of the above had online forms, except Eric Carle (he requires a letter).
We are very grateful for all the donations we've received. We had a large auction last fall and have tried not to ask many of the same donors, so it's been a tougher time this go-round. Our primary fundraiser is this spring auction (our fall one was disaster-related, for school-related expenses for kids who lost their homes). After this, I'm going to not think about auctions for a good long time (at least a month or two).
I originally sent the company a message through the contact me portion of the website on January 16. I received a response back via email the next day stating that I needed to fax my letter in. I sent it in that afternoon. Never heard back from them until the package showed up at the school on April 3. Our auction is April 28. I don't know if they shipped it right before the auction or if it takes 3 months to process a request.
It's been tough trying to get a weekend stay from Hotels! We have tried dozens and did receive a one night stay at the Cerritos Sheraton (20 minutes from Disneyland). We also received stays from The Huntley Hotel and Shade Hotel. We contacted their management. We also got a Palm Springs stay from Rancho Las Palmas, a Palm Desert stay from The Inn at Deep Canyon, a Pala Casino stay, and an Avi Casino stay in Laughlin, Nevada.
Does anyone in California know of a place that would donate a stay near Disneyland? Or anyone who knows of a chain hotel that might donate? I would appreciate the help. Thanks.
