we held a casual spring dinner auction last year and the theme was baseball - our slogan was "Step up the the Plate!" It was a lot of fun and we raised a lot of money yet it was a casual atmosphere. We encouraged guests to wear their favorite team jersey and had the Philly Phanatic attend the event.

We hold an annual auction to raise funds for our school. Last year it was at a very nice hall, with great service, price etc. The problem is some parents thought it was going to be too formal and did not want to attend. Any ideas for a theme to set a more casual tone.
