Our event is in February and it said 3 months out to apply so that is what I did. I just got an email today stating that the tickets should arrive within 6 weeks, hope so since my event is a little over a month away and I followed all their guidelines.
auction or raffle!
You're still raising money, the way I see it. What's the difference....obviously I know I would get more with raffle but its just about the same concept
This is the 2nd year we were approve for Disney Hopper passes (orlando). I applied early in the time-frame and heard back quickly that my submission was received and that I would hear back from them about the status. Within a week or 2 I heard back that we were approved. My event is late March so it will be awhile until we receive the pass/tickets. If I recall correctly, they mailed everything directly to the school and NOT my address. I made sure to let the school secretary know to be on the look-out. Their rules do say no raffles. HOWEVER, I believe that if you are having raffle baskets from various donors that people purchase tickets for whatever basket(s) they like, that is an "opportunity auction." You can call Disney and find out if you quality. That's what I did 2 summers ago and learned more about what an "opportunity auction" was (hope that I'm remembering that term correctly.)
