New Ideas for Teacher gifts?

We hire two massage therapists to come in and give 10 minute massages to each of our teachers. They sign up ahead of time for a 10 minute time slot that works best with their schedule. Our massage therapists set up a special chair in an extra classroom and the teachers get to enjoy a relaxing break! It's a huge hit at our school!!

I love the flash drive idea!! i would love to know where you are thinking about getting them from..

We did Pampered chef holiday cookbooks for christmas for our teachers. And for the teacher appreciation gifts we are doing the 31 gifts thermal totes.. They are on sale in january and we are embroidering them with a first initial of their last name.

We traditionally give our staff of 125 a nice logo gift at the end of each year (padfolios, duffle bags, very nice pens, etc.) but this year I split it up into two less expensive gifts. Just before winter break each staff member received a black fleece scarf with our school name and mascot embroidered on it. And I'm thinking about doing personalized flash drives at the end of the year.

We have an end of year luncheon for our teachers. It happens on the 2nd 1/2 day of the end of school. Students are dismissed at 12:35 so the teachers are free. They end up cleaning their classrooms and sometimes stay till after dinner time. Our PTO supplies them with lunch to help them refresh and energize to finish packing up.

The same thing happened to us - - we can no longer have parents sit in the classrooms. We are looking at getting them nice duffle bags this year???

We are also looking at giving them a monetary donation at the start of the school year to help with the years expenses since they put so much of their own money in to the classroom.

Since so many of our teachers in our district use part of their own money for classroom supplies, we gave them all gift certificates to the local teacher store we know they all like to shop at.

We also had a breakfast of coffee, doughnuts, and juice for them. For lunch we did a catered lunch and had volunteers cover the classrooms, so the teachers could get a much needed break.
