We provide meals made by parent volunteers on the afternoon the teachers have late confernces. I'm looking for more ideas for that week. Any ideas?

We got our local coffee shop to donate fresh brewed coffee and goodies. They also gave the teachers a discount card. Caffeine is good : )

Our Lower School Parent Group puts together a seated service for our teachers. We have a full meal - main course, salad, fruit, veggies, drink - followed by coffee or cappuccino and dessert, all served by 5th grade student servers, just like in a restaurant! Our 5th graders LOVE to serve the teachers and the teachers LOVE to be served by students - many who have been at our school for 6 or 7 years! It's a beautiful meal and our teachers look forward to it every year!

During conference week we do lunches/dinners everyday. We do crockpots of soups & rolls, taco bar, baked potato bar, meat/cheese & rolls, salads or even order pizza one day.
They really do appreciate it since they are there until late and often can't leave.

Hey everyone!

Wanted to bump up this tread on parent-teacher conferences. We are eating some great ideas on how to support teachers during conference time on this new Facebook thread. Here's the link:https://www.facebook.com/PTOToday/photos/a.10150206954915224.445162.325957880223/10154718729550224/?type=1
