Question: Back to nature playground

does anyone out there have experience with constructing a back to nature playground? We are an elementary school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, we are Fundraising & applying for grant money to construct our nature playground. I am wondering how to get parents & their children to help take care of our newly planted trees? Any ideas.

Sounds like a great project. Regarding taking care of the trees, talk to the teachers to see whether there's a class that might be interested in taking on that responsibility. You could also appoint a landscaping committee that would be responsible for the trees and maybe organize an annual cleanup/planting day.
