Question: Help with Minutes

Our organization held our monthly meeting. During this meeting, motions were made. We have not held our next monthly meeting yet. A parent recently contacted the Secretary requesting a copy of one of the motions. Our question is: Do we give her a copy of the motion, or do we need to wait till the minutes are published, since all the motions will be recorded in the minutes.

Hi!
There is no rule against providing a copy of the motion to this parent. You could email them a copy and note that it is not yet part of the approved minutes. If the parent has questions about it, that can be addressed at the next meeting.
