Question: PTO Purchases and Possession

Does anyone know... If our PTO purchases plastic tables for our events, Do those then belong to the school district? Our custodial company keeps saying that they are district property. Please help

If the PTO is independent (ie you have your own bank account and spend your own money) and the PTO purchased them, they belong to the PTO. It's common to gift items like that to the school, but if you haven't done so formally, they don't belong to the school. Your sales receipt or cancelled check should be enough proof of ownership.
