We have full “Club members” that are supposed to be voting members but they can only vote for the members of the membership committee and 2 members of the board ….the board members are looking to do away with the club member vote for the board and have all 7 members of the board be elected by itself.

Advice from PTO TodayRose H writes:
Take a look at your organizations bylaws to see if there's language on voting. If your group wants to make adjustments to how voting takes place, members can discuss, present changes, vote on those changes and then amend the bylaws to include the new procedures.

There are club members and corporation members. It sounds like you are only a club member and not a shareholder or member of the corporation. As such, your voting rights are only those that the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws define.
