Because then they wouldn't make their "significant fee "?

Our town holds lots of races for different reasons. I don't understand why there would be fee?

Yes, I have looked at it. Their website stated that they walk you through the entire process, and they give you everything you need to have a successful fundraiser. They also have a video. I asked them to send me all of the information so we can take a look at it. Trust me, we are not taking this lightly. If we can do this program ourselves for free, then we will do it for free. It doesn't seem too involved for us to do it ourselves, but this company has helped hundreds, if not thousands, of schools earn a lot of money. (After the first year, this company asks that you don't share their program with other schools).

Have looked at this. What are you actually paying for that first year?

I need to know if any of you have participated in this fundraiser. Their web address is www.racefored.com . We are seriously thinking about trying to do this event at our school to replace the 2 fundraisers that we do every year. We are all very tired of doing the same old thing, and so are our parents. This program was developed by a principal when his district faced budget cuts. There is a significant fee involved but after you pay it one time, you are free to use their program year after year with no fee. We make less than $15,000 per year at our school, and this "race" has the potential to earn a lot more. Have any of you tried this, and if so, how much did your school make? Have any of you developed your own program, and was it successful? Thank you all so much.
