All you have said is correct. So, if a kid sells me one $20 gidft card, I have to go online, pick something out, make sure the card is activated, pay for one roll of gift wrap PLUS about $7 shipping for that one roll that cost what $8-10...so there goes my $20, because you know they won't have anything for $3 to buy. Then, I basically lost $3, plus paid shipping...oh and I forgot about tax too...so, there you go. All gone!

Their company is cutting corners and costs, looking out for the company and forgetting about the customer, big time!

Oh and their "catalog" is about 6 pages.

Does anyone have any concrete knowledge/evidence regarding the changes coming to Sally Foster this fall? Here's what I'm understanding:
  • no more 50% profits; down to 40%
  • kids will be selling $20 gift cards instead of selling items from the catalogs
  • gift cards cannot be used until they have been activated by SF
  • all orders are done online and will be charged sales tax and S/H
I am also reading that SF's biggest manufacturing plant was closed down and a new lease is not being signed. While this isn't proof of anything other than the shutdown of the plant, it does raise a red flag for me regarding the longevity of the company..
