(or is that passee? sorry,am not a military guy, i mean gal) i wouldnt mind being called GI Joe, probably less offensive than a guy being called a girl. who knows, where is shawnfusious, aka shawnshuefus, that bastion of political correctness and pillar of equality for all. he will come up with a generic, rhyming, one fit all, name for us parent bloggers here.

Behaving....hmmm......I've been kind of stirring up things around school and home lately. Just came off April Fool's Day. I'll have to get back to you on that one.

I got a new cookbook at our book fair this past week. It's filled with so many yummy looking recipes and I am chomping at the bit to try them all. Will post any spectacular ones! How does Pretty in Pink Strawberry Cake with Strawberry Buttercream sound?

You go, it! Hmm, that doesn't exactly have a snappy sound, does it? You're right though, beignets. In the PTO realm, we tend to lean toward female pronouns. I think our guys are tough enough to take it.

Hey CC, seems like all are lumped as girls around here now, first shawnshuefus and now cottonwood. maybe SHE is the new HE. after all, for years women had to put up with the generic HE/HIM to mean both he AND she. maybe we should all be unisex ITS on these boards (or genderless aliens) then we dont have to guess or worry about offending anyone. LOL.

How is everyone? Everybody been behaving? I don't even have time to cruise around and see what's been going on but I wanted to at least stop in and say "HI" since I've been gone for a while. I'll have to catch up later.

VA and MD were lovely last week with blossoms, grass, etc., but it's so good to be back on home turf...snow in the forecast and all!!
