mykids! It's always great to see you. We miss you around here.

GaMom - Wow. You were either up late last night or had an early morning today. Thanks for the kinds words. I was gushing a bit. I was still on a major adrenaline high when typed that post. I'm more surprised than anybody. I've always been fiesty but never so organized and disciplined about it. ;) It feels good to surprise myself!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was crazy around here. We had an open house yesterday. Our realtor called last night to say that a couple is interested in the house and they plan to make an offer this morning. I hope it's a good one! During the open house we went to the movies and saw We Are Marshall. It was good to see Matthew McConaughey have to rely on acting skills instead of a charming smile and sultry southern accent. He was very good and the movie was great.

Today is my 24th wedding anniversary. Who knew that a shy skinny little 17 year old girl and a rebel without a cause 19 year old boy would turn into us?!?!?! It sure has been a ton of fun so far. I can't wait to see what the next 24 years bring!

Hope you all have a happy Monday!

Hey all - been a while. Classes have started and my online one is the most time consuming of them all!

GaMom - I'm a bit behing but here is what our school uses :
O - outsanding
S - satisfactory
N - Need Improvement
I - incomplete (can't remember if this is the right letter for this grade)

As for does is represent her grades (it's used in the lower elem. grades K-2. The traditional letter grades (A,B,C etc) are used in upper)? I feel these do and they did for my oldest daughter too. But - all I have ever had grade wise in my kids are 0's and S's (A's and B's for the oldest).

Wow, CC, that's great!
Tonight we took our older two to see the Globetrotters. They really had no clue and must have thought we were crazy taking them to a basketball game. About 10 minutes into it they figured out what all the fuss was about. I was sitting on the aisle where they came out and kept getting fives and Globie in my lap.
Do you ever have those times when you are so busy and then you're not and you realize your house is one big mess that needs a serious cleaning? I don't think we've been home before 9 any night this week and my house is nothing but piles. Piles of mail, of clothes, of toys, etc. Just looking at it all makes me tired!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

OMGh!!! Guess what I did tonight? I went to Birmingham and tested for my purple belt in karate! It was the scariest thing and I'm so tired. I still can't believe it. I don't think I'll sleep at all tonight! Gosh that was fun.....
