Scottsmom: Tell her to put a sock in it!

I think I will have a nice White Russian tonight! Somethin' different.....

Are there any hot wings in the kitchen? You know the kind with that @ss!kickin' hot sauce? Could really go for some of those tonight? Anyone out there make em'?

backhoed wanders over to the karaoke machine... pauses for a minute ... picks up the mike and......chickens out  ...

Does anyone need a drink tonight? I'll pour. My president thinks she needs to know about every conversation I have at the school and has gone so far as to tell every staff member that they are to call her at work and never ever call me after I spent the last 6 months trying to get the teachers to trust the parents again...."And the beat goes on" or maybe it's "Hit me baby one more time!"

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

You guys are so awesome. My sons all love Britney and NSYNC, I think it has to do with that bouncy, happy music. Anyway, just remember, you have to take care of you before you can take care of everyone else! It's getting to the point where our president is on her high horse and I think I'm gonna have to lead the pack to assist her down from it because she has decide that I am the root of all evil because she doesn't always get what she wants....I should stop now cause I could go on forever! Cookies sound good, too.

Mykidsmom,

I found myself thinking of putting mine off last week, then I noticed Monday that my foot is turning out as I walk. When I told a friend about it he said "Don't you postpone this, that's not a good sign." Since he has experience in this area, I am heeding his advice. Mostly I'm just thinking of how nice it will be to be able to move around and do the active things with my kids I used to do. In order to take care of our families the way we want to, we have to take care of ourselves first. Big hug and here's a shoulder.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Crank up the karoke machine and find that song! Come on ScottMom, I'll Britney with you! I've got new words tho-

"Oops, I did it again. I couldn't say "no" and now I'm the book fair chair."

My husband was just commenting last night on her new video, he saw part of it as he was flipping channels. He thought he'd come across some adult channel. Thank goodness our daughter has never taken an interest in her music!

Thanks for the Hugs and words of encouragement. Yesterday I was in my "this event is going to kill me, there's no way it's ever going to happen" mood. Today I've reached the delirious "oh, well there's nothing more I can do so here we go" mood. Sales start tomorrow so I'll just say a little prayer tonight for calm and strength and away we'll go!

I'm in the mood to bake. Anyone for chocolate chunk, toffee, almond cookies(my secret recipe)?

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.
