The ULTIMATE Donation List

What was the process you went through on BiddingFor Good to get a "yes'' from your local NFL teams? Did you have to pay a "bid" to receive it or was it a strict donation? Please email me@sportsnstamps@woh.rr.com

We were directed by an NFL team to Bidding for Good & received a yes. We received from both of our local NFL teams but I can't remember which one sent us to Bidding For Good.

Hair care products, you can do a search for local beauty supply stores & ask them. You could also ask the hair salons themselves for products as opposed to a service.

If you or someone in your school knows someone that does any kind of at-home-sales party (pampered chef, Lia Sophia, etc. they will usually donate product or even put together a basket for you as well as donate a percentage of any party booked).

As far as those who have gotten travel packages, I think we would all love to hear what types of packages you were able to put together. We got the hopper passes from Disney & put it with the gc to cracker barrel & my travel agent donated $300 gc towards a vacation package. The Elite Vacation Resorts, we are raffling off. We will have displayed as well as in print the mandatory all-inclusive prices per adult as well as per child. Most people that I have spoken to agree that it is a nice "discounted" package which is still less than they normally pay for a similar all-inclusive package. That was the closest we got to travel packages.

For those who do not want to share the exact hotels which they received donations from, perhaps just an idea of what avenues you followed to acquiring the donation. We have done some "outside the box" thinking to acquire some nice donations but would welcome any other ideas.

Thanks & Good Luck to all!

I have also asked my Mary Kay and Avon rep. You could also try local salons and tanning places. I'm not sure if name brand hair and beauty care businesses with donate makeup and hair products but doesn't hurt to try. I am also working on a spa/ beauty basket for our school auction and have been contacting local hair, nail and even massage businesses.
Has anyone had any luck getting furniture donated??

I asked my local Mary Kay beauty consultant. She's putting together a nice gift basket for us.

Does anyone have places that have donated beauty products? We are trying to put together a beauty basket and we cannot seem to find places that will actually donate items and not just gife certificates. Thanks!

As far as bidding for good goes, we received a lot of no's so far but have also received about 10 yes'es from places that we would normally not think to ask and are able to put some nice travel baskets together. Also, my computer basically autocompletes the form and you can cut and paste some other information so for as long as it takes to fill out the form I think it was well worth it. It's been more succesful than a lot of the letters that I have sent out and saved time, printing, and postage.
