Mary - NO ONE feels the same way as Thomas. I will send those to you asap. I am also working on multiple events and any little bit helps. :-)

Thomas I don't want anything handed to me. I am organizing fundraisers for two organizations and I have gone through this whole message board page by page and did not see any information on how they requested information from the businesses I listed. I also checked online first before I sent this email to see if the company had a business donation page. I have spent months working on getting donations and nothing has been handed to me. Sorry Gwen if you feel the same way as Thomas I don't mean to inconvience anybody.
Thank you!

If some people actually did a little Internet search, they would be able to find all of those listed 2 posts back. Never ceases to amaze me that people expect things to be hand delivered for them!

Hi all, for those of you wondering about Disney Tickets - I applied in March if I remember correctly - got an email response not in 10 days but approx 1 month later that there was a problem with the application went back in and filled it out again and then got a response that we were approved about 3 weeks later. I just got my 4 Hopper Passes in the mail on Saturday so it does take a while for everything so be patient.

I faxed Cabot Cheese and got a response the same day that they will be sending a gift basket of items right beofre my auction which is Dec 4th. Also in regards to those who felt that this site might be harming others in getting donations, I personally did not feel that way at all, I used almost all of the places I could and most of them were happy to send something - I am on Long Island so of course some of the the sports teams only donate to areas within their area as do some corporations, but American Eagle sent a $25.00 gift card, Pennslvania RailRoad sent two admission tickets, Baseball hall of Fame - family 4 pack of tickets, Stampin' Up $300 dollars worth of scrapbook material, NYSkyride 2 admis tickets, Chelsea Piers donated a family gold passport package, Conneticut Tigers sent a 4 pack of tickets for the 2012 season and Medievel Times in NJ send 2 admission tickets. I have also asked in the towns we cover to donate items and I am finding alot of them because I am sure of the recession cannot do it - but some did. Sony donated 2 playstation 2 games, a figure, t-shirt and stickers all in this great backpack. I am still waiting to hear back from Airtran which would go great with the disney tickets!

Paradise pearl I have heard nothing back from. I am now concentrating on more stores in my area and just waiting for all those from corporations who said they would donate for those items to come in. I think patience is the way to be, most corporations who said they would donate, I believe they will. I agree with thinking outside the box, local petstores, theatres for plays, dining - once you get a bunch of items group them together to make one awesome basket - we have one which is Eat Out 1 a Month For A Year with 12 gift certificates. I have a NY Weekend with all the items for NY - same for the Connecticut one for the Tigers and dinner for 2 to mohegan Sun.

This board has been amazing for ideas, suggestions etc - keep up the good work everyone and good luck to all.
