Here is an idea that Im that working pretty good for me. I have asked some celebs to send me singed items and so far have gptten 2 back. Martha Stewart and Tony Hawk. I went to this site fanmail.biz and the have the addys for eveyone under the sun!
I sent out 70 and the first week got these to back.
There are a few con's to this. first it can take months to get something back and its never s ure thing. Second, by looking at that website I found out that hardly anyone will send you anything back unless you send them a letter PLUS a pre stamped and pre addresed envelope. keep in mind that they will send most of the times picture signed so a big envelope would be needed. So you would have to spend the money on stamps to send and for a return.
One suggestion for a GREAT money maker is car rider passes. Last year we auctioned off five spaces for FIRST IN LINE, SECOND & so on and made over $1000 just on the passes. It was a hit and many came to the auction just to bid on the passes. There's talk of a bidding war this year as well. Best of luck to everyone out there!!
