The American Girl Doll donation program was officially suspended in 2015 and reopened for submissions Jan 5, 2016. I would recommend resubmitting a request, it's now done through Good360.
We did our request 1/5, got a yes email on 1/29, shipping notification on 2/26 and we received the doll in early March.
We received an email saying we would receive the donation but it may not arrive in time for our event, which it didn't. They suggested that we print out a picture for our auction. We did do that & placed it in a cheap plastic frame.
I applied for an American Girl doll for my last event this past November. I received an email that we weren't receiving one. It surprisingly arrived 2 months after the event was over.
Have any of you received a donation from American Girl recently? I'm curious if they are just arriving in the mail or if you get an email ahead of time.
