“We have tried to let our staff know all year long that we appreciate them, not only during Teacher Appreciation Week in May. Each room mother picks a month for her class to host one lunch. The theme is a secret until the teachers walk into the room. The class is responsible for getting volunteers for the food, drinks, setup, cleanup, and any decorating. The teachers have come to love this so much! They look forward to not packing a lunch, spending time with each other and the parent volunteers, and getting a little pampering. One of the teachers commented on what a boost it was for all of them, especially during the long winter months!”
