Question: PTA President-To-Be Just Got a DUI
The person who will be taking over as a local PTA's president for the 2018-2019 term just got a DUI less than 2 months ago. If it were even a year ago, I'd feel like it's a different story, but less than 2 months...I don't know. I don't think there are actually any rules against it (I could be wrong), but ethically, should that person be in charge of a school PTA (especially having never held a board position or really even participated in PTA before)?
