Sally Foster Problems?

Same with us. We had a fantastic Sally Foster rep and she would have done anything to make our school happy. The only thing that worried me a little was the $20 price point for the gift cards but our rep made sense when she said we wouldn't have to sell as many cards as the kids sold (items) last year to make the same amount of profit. Plus now we can buy the gift cards for Christmas gifts and people can pick out their own gifts. And it is just expected to pay s/h for anything online. Every online store charges it so I don't think it is that big of a deal. We had a huge Sally Foster sale last year and are tagging the cookie dough this year so we think it will be just fine.

Wow- I guess we just got lucky with Sally Foster and with our rep. We have so many parents that just love the quality and would be upset if we went elsewhere. I must say that their gift wrap is superior to any other out there and our parents seem to buy more and more each year. We had a lot of online sales last year because we really pushed it so I am excited to try the new gift cards and online sale this year. I think not having a delivery day and having the product delivered directly to the actual customer will cause even more parents to support the sale if they know they won't have to deliver it now. We'll see how it turns out but I am feeling optimistic.

I purchased Sally Foster products and find that the credit voucher use shows the last screen as - sorry this website is unavailable." If one pretends to be ordering, the order will go through to where the credit card info is to be put in. I think this is a scam as I've been trying for two months to get credit for products for which they say were out of stock. Am advising school to discontinue using this fraudulent company. Can find no way to contact Sally Foster altho they claim to have a "help" section. Also, will ck with prosecuting atty and BBB to report these problems.

Sally Foster has taken one last ditch effort to save themselves from going under. They are hoping we do not cash in these vouchers. They are not printing brochures next year to save on the printing costs, and take advantage of everyone throug ridiculous shipping and handling fees!!!

In a Sally Foster Update...Sally Foster is using the "going Green" reasoning as to why they will not have actual catalogs for the students to show family members in the Fall. Instead family will purchase gift cards that are in $20.00 increments, that they can shop online with.

After doing some research, with all due respect to their pro's to this, they have not been able to give me a good answer to the following.

1. Folks that want to support the student will have to spend a minimum of $20.00!!

2. If grandma does not know how to use a computer or never uses her giftcard, thenm shouldn't the money as a donation, for te gift cards that are never used? Who does get the money? Oh yes...Sally Foster.

3. When I went to the Sally Foster website I tried to spend 20.00, so all i could do was buy TWO rolls of wrapping paper at 8.00 each, but that 16.00 still came to 22.95 after "shipping and handling", so I had to insert my credit card number and spend more. Wel I did not want o spend more, so I changed my order to ONE roll of paper for 8.00 and it came to 13.95!!!! after shipping and handling!! Unless I want to spend more I forfeit my 6.05..not to the school, but to SALLY FOSTER!!

WHy I think all of us on PTo's would love a fundraiser that is "green" friendly and has no product for us to distribute to the families, in these economic times, how can we have our community members taken advantage of in this way.

I will be voting for us to find a company that lets us keep prices down, and brings brochures to our kids.
