Sally Foster Problems?

Has anyone noticed that the number on the vouchers is almost impossible to read? Mine ends in what looks like AJ, but when I typed it in the voucher field on my checkout page, it said it was an invalid voucher number. I typed AI. Invalid. I then typed A1. Invalid. I have never seen this before and I am so mad! There is a very little mark between the A and what I am sure is an I and it makes it look like a J, but one can't be sure. I guess this is a way for them to be sure that we won't be able to use the darn vouchers! Has anyone else seen this?

I am sitting here with $32.00 worth of Credit Vouchers that at this time there is nothing that I can find to use them on and no way to get my money back. Seems like a ripoff to me

I just heard today from one of our fundraising committee people who had been interviewing companies, that Sally Foster is now only giving 40% profit and their catalog is going to be about 6-10 pages and the kids have to sell gift cards worth $20 each. Whoa....so, that means that for those neighbors, friends and relative who just buy one roll of wrapping paper to help out, they now have to either buy this card or say no....NO THANK YOU! We are looking elsewher for sure. Oh, and they are charging sales tax AND shipping from now on.

I am not bashing Sally Foster, but we had a very bad fundraiser this year with them. We only made $900 and we are a school of 730 students. (We made $8500 last year with a different vendor). We did have very poor parent participation however the little we did sell ($3500) we only made 25% percent and not the 50% we had been counting on. We found out after the sale that this was based on how many packets were distributed. So, essentially we paid for our packets. Rather than give out 550, 1 to each family, we gave out 730 one to each student. This then changed our % of how much we would have to sell $12/per packet to receive 50%. We were about $400 short of that target and we wanted the PTO to purchase items to total that because we would have gotten it back by receiving 50%. Our rep. did not offer this option and when we thought of it on our own it was "too late" and our order was submitted. It could have been a few factors, poor economy, lack of parent involvement or lack of communication between us and our rep, however I thought it only fair that I put this out there so that other schools are not left with a $9000 deficit in their budget.

I have heard that Sally Foster is going to all gift certificates and that they will still charge shipping. We will NOT be signing up again for sure..plus 40% profit is all they will give. Rep in Wichita is a witch to work with as well

I ordered from my grandchildren for the fund raiser. They were out of stock for my items and gave me vouchers. I ordered on line and had to make two orders in order to use the two vouchers. I just got my order for $6.50 worth of tissue paper that could have been bought at the dollar store for a dollar. What's worse is that I had two orders of it. One actually had the paper in the box but the second one was just simply an empty box. I will no longer be ordering any Sally Foster products for the school fund raiser. Very bad service!!!!!!!!! And the products are way over priced.

Order #01612551 was an empty box!!!!!
